RAKSHAK — ASTROC Autonomous UGV

Off-road mobility AI-driven autonomous navigation Multi-sensor perception suite GPS-denied operation

Overview

RAKSHAK is ASTROC AS Technology's indigenous unmanned ground vehicle, developed in alignment with DRDO requirements. The platform is ruggedised for off-road operation and carries an on-board AI navigation stack that allows autonomous route-following without continuous operator input.

Deployment

RAKSHAK is built for perimeter patrol, hazardous-environment inspection and tactical payload delivery — roles where placing a human operator in the environment carries unacceptable risk. Its multi-sensor suite supports operation in GPS-denied conditions, and it can be commanded alongside aerial assets from a single ASTROC Sentinel interface.

Operational roles

  • Perimeter patrol
  • Hazardous-environment inspection
  • Tactical payload delivery
  • Ground reconnaissance
